WASBA Beginning Beekeeper Class

The purpose of the Beginning Beekeeping Course is to introduce people to the basics of what it means to be a hobbyist beekeeper before they decide to invest time, energy, and money in setting up an apiary (one or more hives). “WASBA”

This 5-week course is all online with weekly videos, reading assignments, tests, and a one 1/2-hour Zoom meeting each Saturday at 10:300 am. The course fee of $55 covers your instructions, materials, WASBA certificate, and a 1-year membership in the Washington State Beekeeping Association. The first assignment will be emailed out on January 6th, and the first Zoom meeting will be on January 11th.
