The time has come to prepare the bees for winter and mentally prepare to do it again next year. However, there are still many things to learn and do other than bees. Last year, Woods Bee Co. and many of you had fun doing beekeeping tasks that didn’t involve bees. So, to keep the momentum going, we are having our first non-beekeeping workshop at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024. At this workshop, we will learn how to use beeswax and repurposed candle-making materials to make simple fire starters. We will also discuss the use of beeswax for other purposes. This workshop is $20.00 per person with limited seats; sign up as soon as you can.
