The purpose of the Beginning Beekeeping Course is to introduce people to what it means to be a hobbyist beekeeper before deciding to invest time, energy, and money in setting up an apiary (one or more hives). “WASBA”
This 5-week course is all online with weekly videos, reading assignments, tests, and a one 1/2-hour Zoom meeting each Saturday at 10:30 am. The course fee of $50 covers your instructions, materials, WASBA certificate, and a 1-year membership in the Washington State Beekeeping Association. The first assignment will be emailed out on January 06, 2025, and the first Zoom meeting will be held on January 11, 2025.
