However, if you have any questions or need more information please join us for the preparing for winter workshop Saturday September 21, 2024. At this workshop we will address questions on all areas of winter preparation. We will also address where your hive should be now and what to do to prepare you for the winter. WASBA Beginning Beekeeper Class

Our next class is from October 7th, 2024 – November 9th, 2024

The purpose of the Beginning Beekeeping Course is to introduce people to the basics of what it means to be a hobbyist beekeeper before they decide to invest time, energy, and money in setting up an apiary (one or more hives). “WASBA”

This 5-week course is all online with weekly videos, reading assignments, tests, and a one 1/2-hour Zoom meeting each Saturday at 10:00 am. The course fee of $50 covers your instructions, materials, WASBA certificate, and a 1-year membership in the Washington State Beekeeping Association. The first assignment will be emailed out on October 7th, and the first Zoom meeting will be on October 12th.
