WASBA Beginning Beekeeper Class

Woods Bee Co. 919 W Reynolds Ave, Centralia, WA, United States

Our next class is January 6th, 2025 – February 8th, 2025

The purpose of the Beginning Beekeeping Course is to introduce people to the basics of what it means to be a hobbyist beekeeper before they decide to invest time, energy, and money in setting up an apiary (one or more hives). “WASBA”

This 5-week course is all online with weekly videos, reading assignments, tests, and a one 1/2-hour Zoom meeting each Saturday at 10:30 am. The course fee of $50 covers your instructions, materials, WASBA certificate, and a 1-year membership in the Washington State Beekeeping Association. The first assignment will be emailed out on January 6, 2025 and the first Zoom meeting will be on January 11, 2025.

Coffee with a Beekeeper 18 Jan 2025

Coffee with a Beekeeper is a ZOOM meeting where you, the beekeeper, can ask questions and talk about what’s happening in your bee world. This is the place where you can become a part of our bee community and have your bee questions answered.  We will address all things bees so bring your questions. While this forum is for beekeepers of all levels, I would ask that we be respectful of one another’s questions, as we all once asked the same questions. If this is something that you think you can benefit from, bring that hot cup of coffee and join us. Those of you who don’t drink coffee are welcome as well. Coffee with a Beekeeper is on the 1st and 3rd of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on ZOOM.
