Coffee with a Beekeeper 5 Apr 2025

Coffee with a Beekeeper is a ZOOM meeting where you, the beekeeper, can ask questions and talk about what’s happening in your bee world. This is the place where you can become a part of our bee community and have your bee questions answered.  We will address all things bees so bring your questions. While this forum is for beekeepers of all levels, I would ask that we be respectful of one another’s questions, as we all once asked the same questions. If this is something that you think you can benefit from, bring that hot cup of coffee and join us. Those of you who don’t drink coffee are welcome as well. Coffee with a Beekeeper is on the 1st and 3rd of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on ZOOM.

How to Split a Hive Workshop – 12:00 PM

Woods Bee Co. 919 W Reynolds Ave, Centralia, WA, United States

Good evening, BEEKS, and we pray that everyone is in good spirits and health. Well, if you haven’t noticed, the weather is changing, flowers are blooming, and the bees are flying. It doesn’t get any more evident than this. Bee season is right around the corner. This Saturday, April 5th, Alan will be doing two hands-on workshops on how to split a hive. Alan will take you step by step using an actual hive. Afterward, he will address any questions to ensure that you are confident in your ability to split a hive. While this will be recorded for YouTube, there will be 15 slots at noon and another 15 at 1:30 PM.
