Formic Pro™ is an advanced formic acid treatment designed for effective mite control. Made from natural ingredients, it is suitable for use even while honey production is underway. In contrast to Mite Away Quick Strips, Formic Pro™ offers an extended shelf life and can be stored without strict temperature requirements. For best results, apply the strips only when daytime temperatures are between 50° F and 84° F (10° C – 29° C).
To use, position the strips across the top bars between brood boxes or on top of a single deep hive. Be sure to wear the recommended protective gear when handling the acid.
